Will bedding and towels be provided during my stay? Yes, all the beds will be made and include a bath towel per person and then a hand towel and bath mat in each bathroom. If you would rather bring your own bedding and towels then please let us know.
What cleaning products are being used? We are using Safe2Stay antibacterial & antiviral canisters which are let off when previous guests depart the cottage and create a fog covering all surfaces. Then we carry out our usual thorough clean and we will be wearing PPE. Once finished, the last tasks we carry out is disinfecting highly touched areas e.g. door handles and light switches with disinfectants that have been checked for being effective against viruses including Covid-19.
What changes have been made because of COVID-19? We have had to make a few changes to how we provide the best holiday for our guests and under the safer stay initiative, we have had to remove non-essential items and alter our check in/checkout times. Before your stay we will send an email with all the details of what has changed and what items we cannot provide at this time. If there is anything particular you’re concerned about please do not hesitate to contact us.
What if I become unwell during my stay? If you do become unwell or develop coronavirus symptoms during your stay then you and everyone in the group will be expected to self-isolate and should follow current Government Guidelines. Please inform us as soon as possible so we can make sure to prepare. If well enough you are expected to return to your home address and self-isolate.
What about communal areas?
Unfortunately we have had to make the decision to close the laundry room due to it being a communal area, therefore there will be no washing machine available during your stay, we apologise for any inconvenience. We have put separate freezers in each cottage.
Is it high risk having a holiday? The safety and wellbeing of our guests and our team is the most important thing to us. We are taking extra measures in order to keep you safe during your stay and ensure that you can relax and enjoy your break. Both myself (owner) and our cleaner are clinically vulnerable so we are not taking any shortcuts or risks when it comes to cleaning the cottage. With the products used and the precautions we are taking, we believe it makes it low risk staying in our cottages.
